Made to Order at SAIA
Each SAIA piece is made to order in Australia.
This approach allows us to produce with intention — creating garments only when there is genuine demand, rather than manufacturing excess stock that may never be worn.
Once an order is placed, the fabric is sourced and the garment is produced specifically for you. Every piece has reason to exist.
Why Made to Order
SAIA is built on restraint, not volume.
By working on a made-to-order basis, we are able to:
- Reduce unnecessary overproduction
- Minimise fabric waste
- Maintain a focused, considered collection
- Preserve the integrity of each design
This process supports a slower, more deliberate way of creating clothing — one that values longevity over immediacy.
Production & Timing
SAIA garments are produced in Australia by skilled makers using high-quality fabrics sourced from Australia, Italy and Japan. Our knitwear in made in China by carefully selected, certified manufacturers meeting ethical labour practices and safe working conditions.
As each piece is made individually, please allow approximately 4–6 weeks from the date of order for production, prior to dispatch.
You will be notified once your garment is ready to ship.
A Considered Exchange
Made-to-order pieces are created specifically for you.
For this reason, returns are not accepted for change of mind.
If there is a fault or issue with your garment, please contact us and we will address it promptly.
